A Motor Coach Inspection is required for any vehicle used for the transportation of passengers that meets at least one of the following:

a) Was originally designed by the manufacturer to transport more than 15 passengers, including the driver

b) Either the gross vehicle weight rating or the gross vehicle weight exceeds 10,000 lbs.
