Welcome to Motorcycle Ohio presented by Rider Education of Ohio at Moose Lodge 11. Arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Students arriving after the scheduled start time will be removed from the class and forfeit their registration fee. Prior to the class you are encouraged to read materials, watch videos, and complete exercises at the following link, https://motorcycle.ohio.gov/information-for-riders/courses-information/classroom-information Students must provide and wear the following clothing/gear for all range sessions. 1. Sturdy long pants, preferably jeans, no holes. No sweatpants, yoga pants, capris, etc 2. Long sleeve shirt or jacket, no holes, that covers from the neck to the wrists when riding 3. Full-finger gloves, no holes 4. Eye protection – prescription glasses, sunglasses, safety glasses, googles, etc. 5. Sturdy boots (low or no heel) that completely cover and protect the ankle 6. Optional: DOT-approved helmet in good condition NOTE: Half helmets are not allowed in any class. When seated on the motorcycle, no skin is to be visible. Loaner helmets are available; however, you are strongly encouraged to bring your own helmet (3/4 or full face DOT-approved in good condition). BRING WATER AND SNACKS. TOBACCO USE IS ONLY ALLOWED IN THE PARKING LOT. TOBACCO USE IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM OR ON THE RANGE. There is no access to the building after the classroom portion. There is no access to drinking water. A portable toilet is located next to the range. Students without the required clothing and gear will be removed from the class and forfeit their registration fee. NO REGISTRATION REFUNDS ARE GIVEN.
